4.0 Preparing for a Demo
Hey people! Long time no update, but I'm back with a ton of changes, additions and fixes! Most of them are inner systems to help make my development a bit faster from now on, who doesn't like systems right?
I'm slowly and steadily polishing every little thing and squashing every little bug to prepare for a demo release on Steam for the (next) Next Fest! Wishlist right now, like what are you doing you are missing out big time!
Yet another card rework!
Cards now have rarity which is displayed by a small animated indicator in the top left corner.
Modifiers! They have a small chance of spawning, slightly modifying the card in some way. Also look very pretty.
Quests!
Quests can give you a bunch of different rewards on completion, including cards, items and maybe even abilities. Keep your eyes peeled for those!
Items!
They give you stat increases as well as a permanent effect that is always on your character. This pairs well with upgrade cards, giving you more control in your game strategy. Currently very WIP, so yeah stay tuned for those!
Difficulty settings!
Currently very simple, just increases the damage and HP scaling on enemies. Leave me some suggestions!
Generally a lot of QoL changes have been done. Bugs, fixes, patches...oh god stuff was broken. Good thing is the game is getting more and more stable and easy to expand thanks to a bunch of systems I've implemented between patches. Balancing is my main focus right now, so if something feels weak or too strong be sure to drop me a comment!
